With 8 unmarked samples of Czech microbrews in front of you, our guide will present the basic information about the styles you’ll be tasting, talk about how to taste and describe beer and give you a few hints on what to look for along the way.
Then we get to the fun part: Compete or cooperate to figure out which beer matches the listed styles using only your nose and your tongue; the guide will take you through each of the 8 samples (6 samples for open groups) in front of you, and together we’ll try to find the flavours that will help you identify each style. An entertaining and exciting way to test your beer knowledge, while learning about – and tasting, of course! – seasonal Czech beers. This blind beer tasting is sure to satisfy the curious palate, and maybe open up some new palates to the wide world of flavours in beer.
After the beer tasting, we will go over the answers and hear about some of the microbreweries you tasted, and learn about the big beer culture of our little country.
You will be asked to pay a deposit of 300 CZK per person to reserve your spot.

We found the blind beer tasting was challenging and learnt a lot about the different types of beer. The guides (Sarah and Travis) were very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. We had a great time and would recommend for all beer lovers.
A great evening where we had to guess a number of beers in a blind test after Sarah showed the beers and gave us interesting information about each beer. It was fun to both guess the beer as well as make your own assessment and discuss with the other participants.
We were a group of 13 traveling to Prague for a weekend, and we went to the Blind Beer Tasting hosted by Bohemian Brews. It was a great experience! We tried 8 different types of beer (you get 8 full glasses each), and it was interesting and fun to try to identify each of them based on flavor and smell. Sarah was so helpful in advance, and gave us tips to other bars and restaurants in Prague. We highly recommend this tasting experience!
